Back in the swing of it...

Hello my friends. I’m sorry for another long absence.  I’m finding it very hard to get back into the swing of things after my vacation.  I had such a lovely, relaxing time that coming home and going back to my full time job—which unfortunately has nothing to do with crochet—is just completely wearing me out. I’m exhausted to the point that writing a blog or even just crocheting has been a daunting task! But here I am, finally starting to get back into the swing of things—or as much as I get back into the swing of things.  I’m not very good at accepting the fact that I have to get up and go to work every day.  I still fight it every step of the way.  I think of a hundred reasons every morning why I could call off and then get up and put my shoes on and head to work.  I guess the fantasizing helps get me out the door—some mornings you just have to do whatever it takes.

I do have a free pattern for you today. It’s not the one I was hoping to have—it is still not finished, but I do think this is a lovely set for fall. I’m picturing it as perfect for a bonfire or a tailgate party.  For those of you who like those sorts of things. I’m not a very outdoorsy kind of person unless that bonfire happens to be on the beach and football—well I’m not real crazy about that either. But nonetheless, a beautiful cowl and fingerless gloves set perfect for fall weather.  I love the colors in this set but you could easily change them up to be your favorite team’s colors.  Enjoy my friends and hopefully I’ll get completely back in the routine of things soon.  Have a great week!
