Happy Sunday my friends! I hope all of you are enjoying a lovely weekend. It’s been pretty quiet here so far this weekend. I’ve started another afghan—so even though I finished one, I still have 3 on the go. However, once these three are done, there’s only one more to do and then I think that all of my Christmas crocheting will actually be done…except, I always come up with things at the last minute that I want to make. And we also have to take into account that one of the 3 on the go is the dumb cat afghan. I put it away for a while last weekend because quite frankly I could not take the miles and miles of nothing but single crochet in seizure inducing colors any longer.
So, my plan for today…I don’t know. John and I are taking a vacation in few days, so I really need to start packing for that. I may do that for a bit. I also have a top that I started working on last night that I may work on. Or I may go into my sewing room and try to do some organization in there (HA!). We are taking a quick tour of the Gulf Coast and I am super excited about it. We’re going to hit New Orleans, Gulf Shores, and Apalachicola. Hopefully lots of time of fun in the sun. (And of course checking out the local yarn shops!!!!) HA!
Okay today’s free pattern is a beautiful scarf. It would make a great last minute gift as it only takes 2 to 3 hours to complete but the results are fabulous!!!! I called it my Splendid Spring Scarf, but truthfully, that’s only because I designed it in the spring. Depending on the colors you choose it is suitable for any season! Enjoy my friends and have a fabulous Sunday!
