Long Time No Post

Hello Friends! I hope you are all well and crocheting some amazing things!  I'm good. John and I took a little weekend adventure to Louisville, KY over Memorial Day.  We visited Churchill Downs and it is a beautiful place. We had soooo much fun!  I didn't win a lot of money--but I did win a little at the track.  :-) But considering how exciting it was and how much fun we had, the fact that I won anything at all was just the cherry on top!!!!

While we were there, I also visited an adorable little yarn shop called Yarn Crossing.  Great shop and I started replenishing my stash there! LOL The people running it seemed to be a mother and daughter I think and they were both very nice.  If I ever get back to Louisville I will definitely be stopping in there again!

We also saw the world's largest baseball bat outside of the Louisville Slugger museum. That was really something to see as well!  The only truly Kentucky thing that I couldn't make myself do was order a mint julep.  I don't like bourbon so that was a no go for me! HA!

So, other than that, not a lot is going on around here. Still trying to figure out what I'm going to do in my basement and my studio. It's still a huge mess and I just get overwhelmed every time I go down there.  This too shall pass I'm sure, but for now, I have a lot of trouble even going down there, much less trying to get something done.  Hopefully soon.

Today I'm going to share my pattern for a cape with all of you. It's done in Premier Yarns Sweet Roll in Punch Pop. I don't know why, but I am fascinated by those yarns that come in cake form as opposed to a skein or a ball.  Crazy I know.  So, without further rambling here is my pattern for the Punch Pop Cape.  I hope that you all enjoy it!
