Happy Friday Eve

Hello friends! It's Thursday.  You know what that means--only one more day till the weekend.  And what a fabulous weekend it's going to be--it's 3 days!!!! 3 whole days off from work without having to use a vacation day! I am so excited I feel like it's never going to get here!  So, for this long weekend, we don't really have anything planned. John is probably going to start on the project of laying new flooring throughout our house and I'm probably going to stay outside on the patio and away from the swearing.  (You know the swearing that is always inevitable when one starts a DIY project.)  Since the loss of my sewing room, I've been using my patio table for fabric cutting.  So, I cut everything out on the patio and then take it and sew it together.  So, that being said, I'm trying to get all of my Christmas sewing projects done before the weather turns.  I'm kind of under the gun there because I only really have time to do it on the weekend and I'm afraid that this year as in every other year, my list is massive!!!!

So, speaking of Christmas, I have a really super simple pattern for you today.  It's and ear warmer and fingerless mitts set.  All worked in SC, so I'm hoping that it's simple enough for even a very new beginner.  It's also great as a stocking stuffer!!!  You know because I'm a freak about Christmas and my last several posts have been about nothing but!! Now without further nonsense, onto the free pattern!
